TWO thousand properties were left without power in the New Forest on Wednesday morning.
SSE engineers were alerted to a power cut affecting Fordingbridge and surrounding areas at 10:07am.
The outage affected 2,051 properties and was caused by a fault on the high voltage underground network.
Power was restored by around 10.40am.
An SSE spokesperson said: ““We’d like to apologise to our customers in Fordingbridge and surrounding areas for any inconvenience caused this morning and thank them for their patience as our engineers worked to restore their power as quickly as possible.”
