A WOMAN in her 20s was found lying face down on the pavement in South Street, Wilton.
She was found by two members of the public at about 8.30pm on Sunday, December 31.
Police say the woman had been to a shop in Wilton town centre and was walking home, but has no memory of what happened to her or how she came to be lying on the ground. It is possible she may have been assaulted.
She had no visible injuries but was taken to Salisbury District Hospital as a precaution.
Anyone who was in South Street at that time and saw anything suspicious is asked to contact PC Rachel Gunn by calling 101. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
