- Police close Zizzi in Salisbury in Russian spy investigation
CCTV IMAGES which could show the last movements of a former Russian spy before he was rushed to hospital have been seized by police.
The image could show former-Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his companion moments before emergency services were called concerning their welfare.
Police seized the image, shot at 3.47pm from a camera at Snap Fitness 24/7 in Market Walk.
It shows a man and woman walking through an alleyway connecting the Zizzi restaurant, which was closed last night by police, and the bench in the Maltings where Skripal and a 33-year-old woman were found at 4.10pm.
They remain in Salisbury District Hospital in a critical condition after "suspected exposure to a hazardous substance", police said last night.
Snap Fitness manager Cain Prince, aged 28, said: "Police had a good look at the footage and were interested in these two people.
"It was the only image they took away.
"They wanted a list of everyone in the gym between 3pm and 4pm as well."
Mr Prince added that police said Skripal was "wearing a green coat".
