A SALISBURY pub is the second businesses to be sealed off by police in the ongoing investigation into the major incident unfolding in the city.

The Mill pub, in the Maltings, has been closed by police and cordons will remain in place indefinitely while investigations are carried out.

It comes after Zizzi in Castle Street was closed last night.

Several businesses in the Maltings, which fall within the cordon zone of the original scene, also remain closed.

Managing agent of the Maltings, Lambert Smith Hampton said in a statement: "We can confirm that an incident took place adjacent to the shopping centre on Sunday, March 4.
"We are fully co-operating with the police to support them with their investigation.
"As the investigation is ongoing we are unable to make any further comment at this stage."
