POLICE have confirmed that a cordon around the ambulance base at Solstice Park in Amesbury remains in place this morning.
Emergency services were called to base yesterday afternoon.
Met Police has issued a statement saying the cordon is linked to the ongoing major investigation and a "precautionary measure".
Three fire engines were at the scene, plus a vehicle marked "environmental support unit" and another marked "operational support".
Firefighters dressed in protective suits were also reportedly at the scene, as well as police.
