YOUNG snappers from schools in Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset were celebrated during a special photography competition.
The Rotary Club of Ringwood inter-school photographic competition took place last Tuesday and involved 12 schools including Ringwood, Burgate, and Trafalgar. The theme was ‘A moment in time’ and more than 1,000 entries were submitted.
The winners were announced during an event at Ringwood School last Tuesday.
Anna Giddings of Ringwood School won the young photographer of the year accolade and came top in the Years 7-10 category.
Lily Cunningham-Davis, of St Ives Primary School, won the Years 4-6 category while Emma Stevens-Broyd , of The Burgate School was successful in Years 11-13. The winner in the adult category was Rosie Thomas of Ringwood School.
