MUSICIANS from Verwood Concert Brass wish to thank all those who donated to the band’s Christmas 2009 charity collection.
Groups of players from Verwood’s A, B and training bands could be seen and heard all over the area in the weeks coming up to Christmas.
They performed at Ferret Green, Verwood farmers’ market, outside local supermarkets, at Moors Valley Country Park, Honeybrook Farm and at numerous carol services and Christmas dinners.
As a result of the generosity of those who heard them play they will be able to present Macmillan Cancer Support with a cheque for £1,000.
