Crash in Mere

A TRAILER became detached from a lorry and collided with a 4x4 along the A303 at Mere this afternoon.
Emergency services were called just after 2pm and the westbound carriageway was closed.
A diversion was put in place from the B3092 to the B3081 and at 3.25pm one lane was reopened.
