ANDREW Murrison MP has been appointed Minister for International Defence and Security at the Ministry of Defence.
He has been asked also to continue in his role as the Prime Minister’s Special Representative on the Centenary Commemoration of the First World War, which he is working on with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
Mr Murrison, whose constituency includes Mere, Tisbury and the surrounding villages, said: “I am delighted to be appointed a defence minister by David Cameron especially given my background in the Armed Forces and local constituency interests.”
