Walk in aid of Meningitis Trust
11:29am Monday 10th September 2012 in Headlines By Hannah White
WALKERS from Wiltshire are being urged to join The Meningitis Trust’s Five Valleys Walk on September 30.
The popular 21-mile circular route through Stroud Hills in Gloucestershire attracts people from all over the county.
The event is open to everyone, from children in prams to experienced hikers.
The route is split into nine manageable sections so walkers, who are welcome to bring dogs along, can decide what distance they want to cover.
They can start from one of nine checkpoints which open at 8.30am and close at 5.30pm, and a free bus service will return those who don’t want to tackle the whole route.
Registration before September 24 costs £8 for an adult, or £12 on the day, £5 for under 16s, or £8 on the day, and £20 for a family, or £30 on the day.
