Find out more about dog behaviour

DOG owners wanting to learn more about the behaviour of their pet can attend a series of brief lectures tomorrow in Coombe Bissett.

Hosted by staff at Dogs Trust Salisbury, the evening is entitled Calming the Conflict, and will include short lectures on a variety of dog behaviour topics, from theories on attachment to how dogs view the world, as well as how best to use specific theories to improve problem behaviour.

Alison Rodger, rehoming centre manager at Dogs Trust Salisbury, said: "This is a great opportunity for anyone involved with dogs to learn more about them and how to understand the behaviour of the modern domestic dogs.

“Our experts will demonstrate how we work with the dogs in our care to help give them the best chance of finding a new home."

The lectures begin at 7pm at Coombe Bissett & Homington Village Hall. Tickets to the evening cost £10 each and include light refreshments.

Payment can be made by cheque on the door. For more information or to book a place, contact Dogs Trust Salisbury on 01980 629853.
