CHORISTERS from the Avon Valley Youth Choir have raised £4,000 for charity through their summer concerts.
Performances included an opera at Lansdowne with proceeds going to the King's Royal Hussars Association and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The choir performed Mozart's Requiem at St Mary's Church, Fordingbridge, raising funds for the Sarah Kinsley Fund. A spokesman said: “We were delighted with the success of these two events, and overwhelmed by the generosity of our audience members. This is a considerable amount of money raised and it will go a long way to help others.”
