THE achievements of students at Salisbury’s St Edmund’s School were marked at a special event held on Monday.
And the evening was made even more special by the presence of Paralympic medallist Liz Johnson.
The Celebration of Achievement evening saw awards given to individuals and groups who have excelled through the school year, both in their academic studies and in their efforts outside of their school work.
The Parish Council Cup for contribution to the local community went to Jade Cobb; the School Charity Award to Nightingale House; The Trethowans Overall Achievement Award for the highest GCSE results to Grace Pinn and the 150th Anniversary Cup for the student who best represented the ethos of the school to Emma Fontete.
The Friends’ Association Awards for outstanding endeavour were given to Abby Lucas (Year7), Ellie Macready (Year 8), Beth Penny (Year 9) and Chiara Franchi (Year 10).
