STONEHENGE School saw off their Year 11 students in style last week as they released 150 balloons which represented the Year 11s being released out into the world.
The balloon release at the Amesbury school was just part of a whole day celebrating the Year 11 students' last full day of school before they went on study leave, which included parties and quizzes.
Deborah Harker from the school said: "We wanted to make it very memorable for them and we kept it a secret from them until they were handed their balloons.
"It's the first time we've done it and, hopefully, it won't be the last.
"The feedback from the students was they really enjoyed it."
