LOCAL produce was on the menu at Breamore Primary School’s Cranberry Fair on Saturday.
Almost 300 people turned out to the fundraising event, which made around £700 for the school.
A variety of products were on sale as part of an effort to promote local food. They included pickles and jams, meat and poultry, beer, honey and chocolate. There was also a sale of fudge and cakes baked by parents.
One stall featured coppice crafts produced by Dave Dibden who appeared on the BBC television programme A Year in the Wild. Other displays included potters, painters, a felt maker and even a stall selling items knitted from alpaca wool.
The event was supported by the Woodgreen community shop outreach scheme, and received funding from the National Lottery.
