A bit nuts?
IT could so easily have gone terribly wrong for this hungry squirrel, photographed by Richard Tratt from Fordingbridge at Blashford lakes, near Ringwood.
He managed to squeeze between the bars of the squirrel-proof bird feeder and helped himself to the nuts.
With a full stomach it was touch and go whether he’d be able to squeeze back out again.
But as Mr Tratt’s photos show he made it out, inching through before making off for his much-needed winter sleep.
