CHILDREN in year 1at Verwood First School have been designing and making their own houses.

Groups of four children chose to be an architect, builder, plumber or a decorator to create their homes after visits from an estate agent and a builder, who helped them with architectural ideas.

The children’s parents were then invited to an exhibition of the model homes.
