Air ambulance needs marathon runner

DORSET and Somerset Air Ambulance is appealing for a keen runner and fantastic fundraiser to take up a Silver Bond ticket for the 2013 Virgin London Marathon on April 21.
The Silver Bond scheme was introduced five years ago and offers 1,250 charities the chance to buy one running place, once every five years.
With only a short time left to register their applicant’s name, the charity is on the hunt for a marathon fundraiser to help raise money for its lifesaving work, which costs £4,000 per day.
Applicants have until Monday to contact the charity.
