Developer fees consultation

EAST Dorset District Council is consulting on fees it will charge to developers.

The consultation on the Preliminary Draft of the Community Infrastruc-ture Levy Charging Sche-dule runs from January 28 until March 11.

The money raised from developers can be used to fund infrastructure needed as a result of development, including new or safer road schemes, flood defences, schools, hospitals and other health and social care facilities, park improvements, green spaces and leisure centres.

A CIL viability study and a draft charging schedule have been produced and these can be viewed at dorsetforyou.com/407160 or at council offices and libraries in the area.
