TWO Verwood schoolchildren raised an amazing £458.50 selling 850 cakes in 15 minutes to hungry pupils.
Daniel Howe, ten, and his sister Stephanie, eight, helped mum Kelly bake hundreds of delicious cakes to sell at Stephanie’s school, Verwood First, in aid of Oxfam and the Red Cross Philippines appeal.
The children came up with the idea themselves after learning of the devastating typhoon that hit the country.
Mrs Howe said: “My husband and I couldn’t be prouder of both our children.”
