A WOMEN’S choir from Fordingbridge performed to a packed house and raised £500 for charity.

The Sounds Like Fun choir, which has 40 members, raised the cash for Stop The Traffic! Honeypot Children and The Alzheimer’s Society.

Choir master Jayne Lewis sang two solos, and The Milford Mummers with a cast of 12, performed a traditional folk panto, receiving lots of laughs, hisses and boos.

Choir organiser Roz Bradbury said: “The atmosphere was wonderful and the talent quite brilliant.

“Every single one of the women involved are not only growing in their own achievements and are hard working, but also enormous fun and are real friends – I am just so very proud to be associated with such wonderful women.”
