TWO events for the keen horticulturalist or garden-loving families are being held this Sunday.
Downton’s annual Seedy Sunday is being held from 2pm-4pm in the Memorial Hall, offering people the chance to buy or swap seeds and plants.
The event also offers advice on bee keeping, chickens, making compost and wildlife.
In the morning, from 10.30am-2.30pm, Damerham Potato Day will be held at the village hall, hosted by Damerham & District Horticultural Society and Pennard Plants. There will be scores of varieties of seed potatoes available, plus onion sets, shallots, rhubarb crowns, fruit trees and bushes, everything for the kitchen garden.
