THREE events are coming up at Verwood Library.

Next Thursday, March 20 there’s an event to mark Nutrition & Hydration Week from 10am until 12.30pm.

Readers can look through a display of health and nutrition books available, and order any books not on the shelves free of charge from the county catalogue. Bring your Dorset library card, or proof of address to become a member on the day.

It’s Spring Online Week from March 31 to April 4, and the library is holding sessions on Monday, March 31, Tuesday, April 1 and Friday, April 4 from 10am-4pm. These are free, one-to-one, 45 minute sessions to help you make the most of the internet, whether you want to get connected, get healthy, get a job, get a bargain, set up an email account or find long lost family. Book up on 01202 822972.

Finally, on March 31 and April 3 there are Stories from the Web sessions for children aged under 16 from 3.45-4.45pm, with no booking required. If your children like writing stories and poems, or are looking for ideas for great reads, staff can get them on the free Stories from the Web website used by youngsters all around the country.

Staff will show them how to use the website for information about books and authors, to read extracts of books and join in with activities and games.
