A RINGWOOD school is set to host a performing arts summer holiday course.

The Ringwood Waldorf School is holding the summer school for 12 to 16 year olds for the fourth year.

From July 13 to August 3, a whole range of artistic and outdoor based activities will be held at the school for both local young people and students from abroad.

The numbers of students attending has been growing every year – and this year the school expects to welcome up to 60 young people from abroad.

To help accommodate them during their stay, the summer school needs local families who can give the children a temporary home.

Nigel Revill, the school’s administrator, said: “Our summer school has been extremely popular in the relatively short time it has been running.

“We’re anticipating more children than ever attending so we’d really like to hear from local families who are interested in becoming host families.

“The activities at the summer school are also open to local young people and the performing arts camp provides a great opportunity for talented students to shine.”

Host families will be paid.
