STAFF at Sainsbury’s in Ringwood have raised more than £1,600 for Sport Relief.

Staff rowed, cycled and ran and collected donations during their flash-mob performance of Black Lace’s 70s dance number Superman.

Staff, including Samantha Tricksey, Kev Strowger and Samantha Holmes took part in the first ever Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Games 5km run in London. Sainsbury’s chief executive Justin King ran 17 regional miles across the UK, raising more than £104,000, with money still coming in.

Mr King’s challenge included a mile in Andover where he ran alongside Ringwood store’s Samantha Tricksey.
