THE Burgate School said farewell to their Year 11 leavers on Friday – with a spectacular prom.
This year’s prom was “a successful fun night that reflected the down to earth and lively nature of the year group”, said a school spokesman.
Lots of people turned out to see everyone arrive, suited and booted in a range of novel forms of transport.
The theme was black and white and tables were decorated with balloons and sweets, the DJ kept everyone dancing throughout and a professional laser show filled the hall.
Carolyne Connolly from the school said: “A special thank you to the PTA, staff and the student prom committee, who all helped with organising and setting up the night.”
