THE owner of a dog that went missing 11 days ago from Godshill is making a fresh appeal for sightings.

Jane Moore last saw Fly, a black and white, male springer spaniel cross, at Godshill Woods, Fordingbridge, on Friday, June 27.

He has long legs, short clipped fur, a long tail and black freckles over his snout. When he was lost he had a large, red, round ID tag with a white paw print and clear contact details was attached to his black and yellow Dogs Trust collar. He is also micro-chipped.

Ms Moore said: "He can be shy and it may not be immediately apparent that he is lost, so please bear in mind the description above.

"Should you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact me on 07778 399427 or the New Forest Dog Warden on 02380 285411 and, if safe to do so and possible, please try to keep him with you meantime.

"Fly is a much loved and missed family pet; who following a very shaky start in life, has learned to trust us. He needs to be at home.

"We are extremely grateful to all those who have so generously donated their time and energy during this on-going search for Fly. The many kindnesses demonstrated to us and Fly have been humbling indeed."
