PARENTS of budding rugby fans can attend an open evening at Ellingham and Ringwood RFC on Monday night.
The information evening is inviting children’s parents to the clubhouse in Parsonage Barn Lane, Ringwood, where they can meet the team and raise any questions from 8pm.
The club offers childcentred coaching delivered by RFU accredited coaches.
Minis academy chairman Chris Howe said: “At each season, players grow at a safe and steady rate from fouryear- olds, running like maniacs in a supremely happy environment, right up to the age of 16.
“As a club we nurture and encourage at every level, upholding the rugby ethos of total inclusion. This has led to a truly open and wonderful environment for children to work, learn and play.”
Free trial sessions are offered and boys and girls of all abilities are welcome from the age of four. Each age group plays with new rules as they progress in their rugby career.
The season starts at 9.30am on Sunday, September 7.
