ABOUT 65 patients of the Fordingbridge Surgery turned up for the sixth meeting of the patient participation group held at Fordingbridge Town Hall.
Dr Toby Wallis explained that the recent cut in phlebotomy services, forcing patients to travel to Salisbury for routine blood tests, was due to lack of extra funding.
On a more positive note, the partners scotched rumours that the surgery might close.
