LANDSCAPE photographer Mark Simpson will be presenting an illustrated talk about his photographs at Moors Valley Country Park and Forest, tomorrow from 7pm.

His talk will cover his photographic journey from professional motorsport to the more tranquil of the world of landscape photography.

A few tickets remain available for the evening, which also marks the opening of the Landscape Photographer of the Year exhibition featuring Mark’s image of Sturminster Newton Mill alongside around 100 other images of the countryside. The Landscape Photographer of the Year competition was founded by landscape photographer Charlie Waite from Dorset and Moors Valley is one of the few places outside London where it is possible to see the exhibition.

It will be at the park until November 23. Tickets for the opening night event cost £5, which includes a glass of wine or soft drink. To book call Moors Valley on 01425 470721.
