YOUNGSTERS at Trinity First School in Verwood had their first taste of democracy as they cast their votes in the school’s council elections.
Pupils voted for their class representatives, by marking a cross on their ballot paper and posted it into the ballot box.
Verwood Mayor Pat Morrow announced the winners and presented them with their school representative badges.
