A WHOLE host of things to see were on offer at Hockeys’ Farm near Gorley as Age Concern celebrated International Day of the Older Person.
Competitions, tea and biscuits and information about living independently were on hand at the event last Wednesday. Ellingham, Harbridge and Ibsley Age Concern village agent John Stokes said: “For those people who turned up it was very enlightening, they were able to access a large variety of leaflets, giving points of contact.
“In discussions with me, people said they wanted a second event to be held in the spring when we would hold it on a Saturday.
“This would mean a number of people who may be restricted on leaving the house could get lifts from their neighbours and relations.”
