HAMPSHIRE residents are being urged to have their say and help shape health services in the area.

West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is keen to involve local residents on how it should communicate with and involve them.

Proposals on how the CCG intends to do this are set out in its draft communications and involvement strategy, which outlines its plans for working with local communities and organisations to ensure they are supported to have a more involved relationship with the CCG. West Hampshire CCG is responsible for planning and buying health services.

Dr Sarah Schofield, the chairman of West Hampshire CCG, said: “We are absolutely committed to working with our local communities to ensure NHS services meet their needs. This means finding out about people’s experiences of the NHS and what matters to them to help ensure we are planning and buying the right services.”

The deadline for responses is Sunday, December 21.

The survey is available online by visiting westhampshireccg.nhs.uk, emailing info@westhampshireccg.nhs.uk or calling 02380 623221. Alternatively, email comments to the above address.
