REVELLERS flocked to Alderholt for the fourth ReCreate Festival.
The five-day event last week had activities and entertainment for all ages and was held at the village’s recreation ground.
More than 300 children attended three mornings of activities and went on an Easter adventure with a time-travelling alien who arrived by zip-wire spacecraft .
In the evenings there was a packed-out quiz and a Open Mic music night compered by award-winning Dorset folk duo Ninebarrow in the marquee. Local postman, Tony Rust, and his family, made a welcome return to the stage as The Rustic Fools.
Alderholt Goes Pop drew a large crowd who came along to see Blazin’ Squad, Big Brovaz and Booty Luv take to the stage.
Strictly Come Dancing professional Kevin Clifton also proved a popular attraction – sharing his skills during a dance evening.
ReCreate concluded with another full crowd on Sunday morning for an Easter celebration followed by barbecue, bouncy castles and live music.
The event is organised by St James’ Church.
