HUNDREDS turned out to support Fordingbridge Fire Station's very first live music event.
A crowd of more than 300 came along to enjoy what was on offer at Party in a Park on Saturday, which was held at Riverside Park, despite the poor weather.
The event was in aid of Southampton General Hospital neurological department and the Firefighters Charity.
It was also in recognition of the fantastic care provided to Fordingbridge Fire Station crew manager Steve White after a serious accident last May.
A whopping £5,000 was raised which will be split between the two causes.
During the event there was live music from local acts including The Halapenos, Fit For Purpose, Monkey Closet and Snatch Rescue.
Fordingbridge Station Manager Pete White said: "To be completely honest I have done quite a few fund raising events over the years since I have been in the fire brigade and this has got to be the most enjoyable one yet. As for next year I am already looking at it."
