RINGWOOD burst into life on Saturday for this year's Fanfare for Spring.
As part of the event residents and visitors were treated to a day of performances from brass bands to street performers and choirs to Punch and Judy shows. Organised by the local Rotary Club of Ringwood the show is now an annual event in the town’s calendar and is going from strength to strength.
Amongst official guests were MP Desmond Swayne and Deputy Mayor Cllr Michael Thierry.
Cllr Thierry said: "It’s been a very well organised event and I have heard so many positive comments from people throughout the day.
"Those people who have helped organise Fanfare should feel very proud of what they have achieved for the benefit of our town and its residents and I give a special mention to Roger Bettle who has led the team throughout."
The event was also supported by local business in the town who funded many of the activities. Ringwood Town Council also contributed to the event.
