FASHIONISTAS from Ringwood Waldorf School will be swapping frocks to raise funds for BBC's Children in Need.

Parents held the first clothes swap in 2010 and since then have raised more than £9,000 for charity appeals and school funds.

This year, the team hope to raise around £800 for BBC Children in Need.

Parent Anna Shiels said: "The clothes swap is a great way to enjoy some eco-shopping in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Everything that is donated is carefully sorted in advance from tiny baby clothes to gorgeous dresses. Our school hall will be set up with changing rooms and mirrors and our parent-run pop-up café will keep everyone topped up with coffee and cake.

"We're hoping for hundreds of fab items to spruce up those autumn wardrobes, and of course plenty of 'shwappers' to enjoy the event."

The swap is on Saturday November 7 from from 10am.
