EMERGENCY services attended a crash between three vehicles on the A31 in Ringwood.

The call was made to Dorset Police at 2.24pm on Saturday afternoon with reports of the incident in the southbound direction of the Ringwood Road, leading towards the Ashley Heath Roundabout.

A blue Skoda Citigo, a black Nissan Juke and a grey Landrover were involved in the shunt, which left visible damage to the vehicles and temporarily blocked one lane.

Traffic was slow moving heading past the Furlong Centre as it travelled past the scene while police officers ensured that everybody was safe and then recovery was requested.

A spokesperson for South Central Ambulance Service said that two crews dealt with six patients.

None of the people needed hospital treatment and they were all treated at the scene.
