BLUEGRASS band The Bow-Legged Skeeter will be back at the Meeting House in Ringwood on May 20.
The five-piece band featuring fiddle, banjo, mandolin, guitar and string bass with harmony vocals are becoming well known nationally on the Bluegrass Festival circuit.
And the band and will be playing the Naseby Festival just before their Ringwood performance.
The Hampshire-based band play a mix of traditional and modern American Bluegrass drawn mainly from the Appalachian Mountains together with some of their own compositions.
Bluegrass music has its roots in early American folk music, blues, Scottish and Irish fiddle tunes and gospel, and is characterised by fast tempos and harmony singing, with many of the songs and tunes led by fiddle and 5-string banjo.
