THE sun shone on a glorious village show in the heart of the New Forest on Saturday.
And this year's Burley Village Show was dubbed one of the best to date as hundreds packed the show ground for the countryside spectacular.
The crowds were held spellbound by Pepsi, the Shire horse, a bird of prey flying display and Punch and Judy plus vintage cars and farm machinery.
Show organiser Sue Burnett said: "Pepsi was beautiful and the children adored her. The sun was shining and the weather couldn't have been better. We have had so many lovely comments about our show this year and I think it was probably one of our best."
