POLICE are hunting a burglar who broke into a house in broad daylight in Ringwood on Tuesday September 13.
An 18-year-old woman was in the house on Ringwood Road between 11am and 11.30am, when she heard noises.
She saw a man wearing a helmet and motorcycle clothes who fled, escaping over a fence.
The woman saw a red motorcycle, possibly a 125cc, parked at the entrance to the driveway. Nothing appears to have been taken.
PC Lawrence McKenna from Lyndhurst Police Station said: “I’d like to hear from anyone who saw a red motorcycle in the area that may have been travelling erratically or off road.
“Also we’d like to speak to anyone who has dashcam footage or has found an abandoned motorcycle.”
