A RINGWOOD shop welcomed film crews from BBC’s Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.
Lorraine Tarrant, of Lorraine Tarrant Antiques, had the TV crew at her store in The Stables in Stride Lane on April 24. She was joined by celebrity contestant actor Geoffrey Whitehead and antiques expert Kate Bliss.
The pair showed up for the days filming in a vintage Rolls Royce.
“They had a whale of a time looking at all the bits and pieces – an eclectic mix everything – and drinking tea and eating biscuits,” said owner Lorraine. “It was great fun.”
She added: “I’m looking forward to when it is aired. It is such a brilliant programme and really good for the trade. It is nice to keep Ringwood on the map. I’m pleased we were picked.”
The episode is due to be televised later in the year.
