A WHIP-CRACKING good time was had by children, and adults too, at the Hyde Primary School's Wild West themed summer fair.
The event, which was organised by the Hyde School Friends Association (HSFA), took place on Friday on Hyde Common.
There was a bouncy castle, pony rides, games, classic cars, a barbecue and more for families to enjoy. And entertainment continued into the evening.
A spokesman for the HSFA said: "It was a very successful day. We had a good turnout and had lots of support and fun. It was lovely to see the community come together."
The Wild West themed linked in with the school's summer show Going Wild.
The event also helped to raise funds for the village school.
