STAFF from businesses in Fordingbridge and Ringwood rolled up their sleeves and got baking for the Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

The Fordingbridge Bookshop and Padua Communications in Salisbury Street, Fordingbridge joined forces to serve up some tasty treats to customers on Friday (September 29) - raising £250 for the cancer charity.

And Churchill Retirement Living’s head office in Ringwood also took part, raising money through a staff bake-off competition, baking-related fun and games, cake sale and raffle, as well as a special lunchtime hog roast provided by the company’s in-house Plant Services team.

A large number of Churchill lodges and site offices all over the country have also been taking part with coffee mornings and bake sales of their own, alongside Millstream Management Services, whose Lodge Managers oversee all Churchill’s developments.

The contributions will be totted up over the coming days, and the group has set a fundraising target of £35,000 for Macmillan this year.

Coffe morning events were held across the country for the charity.
