E-FIT images of two people police are looking to speak to in connection with an assault in Ringwood that left the victim needing hospital treatment have been released.

The incident took place on Southampton Road - near the main bridge over the A31 - at around 7.30pm on Thursday, October.

A 42-year-old man was assaulted by up to six people, leaving him with injuries that required hospital treatment.

The following descriptions of the two males have also been released by police.

One of the males is described as being white, around 13-years-old, 5ft tall and of average build with short dark brown/ black hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap and had a local accent.

The second male was white, 14 to 16 years old, 5ft 5ins to 8 ins tall and of large stocky build with thick black stubble on his face and short, spiky black hair. He was possibly wearing a white and blue checked shirt and had a local accent.

A third person police would like to speak to in connection with the incident is described as a white male, 14 to 16 years old and of smaller build than the other two. He had a round face and was wearing a hat or cap and a tracksuit, possibly grey or blue. He had a local accent.
