STUDENTS at Burgate School and Sixth Form Centre performed to sell-out crowds as they brought the iconic musical Grease to the stage.
Matthew Cakebread, the show’s producer, said: “We were delighted with how the show came together and how the audience responded so warmly. Feedback we have had from parents, students and the wider public who were lucky enough to get a ticket has been overwhelming.
“It has all been a huge amount of work for everyone involved, but was completely worthwhile and just great fun to be part of.
“This is going to be a tough act to follow, but we’re looking forward to stepping up to the next challenge later this year as we set about devising our own adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, which will once again showcase the best of Burgate students’ talent.”
