Boundary voices

RESIDENTS in East Dorset are being urged to take part in a consultation on proposals for new boundaries.

The Local Government Boundary Commission for England is asking people for their help to draw up a new pattern of council wards for East Dorset.

The commission currently favours the council’s proposal to reduce borough councillors by seven, to 29.

Further information on the review is available on the Commission’s website here and maps of the existing wards can be found here.
