HUNDREDS of people from across the Forest took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Children at St Ives First School tucked into glittery lollies and scrumptious cakes to raise funds for the appeal, and at Verwood Hub there were coffee and cakes galore.
Lorraine Tarrant-Heckford of Lorraine Tarrant Antiques in Ringwood also held an event to fund the charity’s work with cancer sufferers in the community.
The proceeds are still being counted but Macmillan hopes to raise more than £10.7million from the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning across the UK, with £250,000 of that coming from Hampshire.
