VISITORS to Moors Valley Country Park near Ringwood were given the tools for the ultimate outdoor adventure at a countryside fair at the weekend.
Primitive fire lighting, looking at plants for food and other bushcraft skills were demonstrated in four sessions throughout the day.
The popular ‘have-a-go at digger driving’ sessions returned, and a host of birds of prey were displayed by Liberty’s Owl Raptor and Reptile Centre. And Moors Valley’s latest totem pole was completed at the fair, when Rachel Huggett added the final touches with a British wildlife theme.
