Pop-up shop to benefit children with special needs
12:00pm Sunday 21st October 2012 in New Forest News
A RINGWOOD businesswoman is using her closing down sale to benefit a much-loved local charity.
The Sarah Kinsley Fund is set to benefit from a pop-up shop being opened in Ringwood by Patsy Seddon, the founder of Phase Eight.
The shop will open on Monday for four to six weeks at 2 The High Street to sell her most recent brand, Shircket, at bargain prices.
Shirckets are luxury silk velvet, tweed, jersey and linen shirt/jackets which Ms Seddon designed to be worn over a pair of trousers. Everything will be priced at under £25.
The shop will be open six days a week, from 9.30am until 4.30pm and ten per cent of all takings will be donated to the fund, which helps parents of special needs children pay for important items not available from the NHS or the education system.
The fund is a cause close to Ms Seddon’s heart as she has a disabled daughter.
